Ho Chi Minh City, 17 May 2012: Sophie Paris, Asia's leading direct selling fashion brand, today announced its latest catalog, number 13, with promises that it was the company's biggest launch to date. The launch took place at Next Top Club in Ho Chi Minh City's District 4 in the face of more than 1000 members, guests and VIPs, including the Brand Ambassador, Mrs. Quynh Hoa as well as the local media.

The catalog sees the company launching its all new range of lingerie in Vietnam for the first time, as well as a range of stylish, French-designed shoes set to delight the feet of the nation.

“We are incredibly excited about this catalog,” said Sophie Paris Vietnam General Director Nick Jonsson, fresh from a week which saw the company also announce having obtained their business license for future locations in Danang and Hanoi.

“This catalog sees us bring Vietnam's ladies a whole new Sophie. Our stylish and attractive range of bras, panties, body suit, silicon pads are also debuted in this catalog and feature the French design that is the hallmark of all of the Sophie Paris range.”

“In addition to this, Sophie's shoes hit the streets with this catalog as well, where we will be featuring 19 different styles of footwear to parade the pavements of Vietnam.”

The launch event featured yet another major announcement, with a new charity partner being selected for Sophie Paris in Vietnam in 2012.

“We have worked with Saigon Children's Charity in the past year, devoting proceeds of sales to the cause, working with them at schools and orphanages around the country, and have enjoyed a tremendous relationship, and presented them with USD 4000 from our final catalog working together,” Nick continued.

“In the coming year we have selected a new charity with whom to partner, and we are thrilled to be working with Pacific Links, and organisation headquartered here in the Mekong Delta province of An Giang which works with women all over Vietnam who are at risk of trafficking or who are previous victims of trafficking. They do amazing work, and as a company that is in the business of empowering women and helping women to realise their dreams, a powerful fit with Sophie Paris,” said Nick.

“Pacific Links Foundation is excited to join hands with Sophie Paris in combating human trafficking in Vietnam this coming year,” said Pacific Links Foundation President, Ms. Diep Vuong.  “We look forward to working together and deeply appreciate the support of Sophie Paris, its members, and clients as we continue to support and empower young women who are either at-risk of being trafficked or are survivors of trafficking by providing access to education, shelter and reintegration services, and enabling new economic opportunities.”

The partnership will include cash donations, member contributions from Sophie's 30,000-strong member base, training commitments nationwide and ongoing product-proceed contributions.
